PANELIST BIOGRAPHIES

Dr. Andrea Lamphiear, Founder and Radiologist at GRACE Breast Imaging and Medical Spa

Dr. Andrea Lamphiear, co-founder of GRACE Breast Imaging & Medical Spa, PLLC and proud graduate of Simpson College and the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine, is a fellowship-trained breast radiologist with more than 15 years of experience specializing in all aspects of breast imaging, with a particular focus on high-risk

patients and individualized care. She completed her dedicated breast imaging fellowship at the Susan G. Komen Breast Center in Peoria, Illinois, a pivotal step that deepened her passion for delivering high-quality, compassionate and patient centric breast care.

Growing up in small-town Iowa led Dr. Lamphiear to develop a strong commitment to improving access to expert breast imaging in underserved populations. She has a passion for eliminating barriers to care, whether those barriers are expense, fear, education, or location, and strives to help all patients have the same access to personalized, evidence-based breast care combined with cutting-edge technology in a serene and calming environment.  Dr. Lamphiear and her partner, Dr. Rachel Preisser have created GRACE from the ground up to transform the patient experience by making breast cancer screening feel more like self-care than healthcare.

Dr. Lamphiear and her four children returned home to central Iowa in 2021 after exploring the country with her late husband, Warren, a Naval aviator, who passed away in 2019.  She is proud to fulfill, at his encouragement, opening the breast center they had envisioned to help save lives through early detection and encourage and empower other women to make the leap into opening their own healthcare centers.
