Read to Achieve
Open for students in kindergarten through eighth grade, the Iowa Wolves along with the help from our friends at Athene are excited to continue their Read to Achieve program to even more students! The Iowa Wolves Read to Achieve program has rewarded thousands of students for accomplishing their reading goals with great prizes. Session information and sign up details for the 2024-25 Read to Achieve will be announced at a later date. Below are general details and program notes on Read to Achieve.
The school with the highest percentage of students to complete the challenge will receive the Read to Achieve trophy, a pizza party for the school hosted by Northern Lights Pizza, the new official pizza provider of Read to Achieve! And an appearance by Iowa's favorite mascot, Alpha!
Students who read 500 or more minutes in school or at home will be rewarded with an Iowa Wolves prize pack. The prize pack includes a bookmark and FREE tickets (up to two) to an Iowa Wolves home game during the 2024-25 season.
Program Notes
Teacher Incentive: Teachers that have 50% or more of registered Read to Achieve students complete the 500-minute challenge will receive two (2) complimentary tickets to an Iowa Wolves home game in 2024-25.
School Incentive: The school with the highest percentage of students to complete the challenge will receive the Read to Achieve trophy, a pizza party hosted by Northern Lights for the school and an appearance by Iowa's favorite mascot, Alpha!
