Wolves Start Regular Season Thursday Night at Home

DES MOINES, Iowa – The Iowa Wolves start the regular season portion of its schedule with three home games this week at Wells Fargo Arena. Iowa hosts the Raptors 905 on Thursday night at 7 p.m. and Saturday on New Year’s Eve at 2 p.m. The week ends with the Texas Legends on Sunday on New Year’s Day at 2 p.m.
Available for purchase is a holiday break ticket special for $23 that gets you two tickets to any of the three games. A pair of fan giveaways will take place with the first 1,000 fans at Saturday's game receiving a winter hat, and the first 1,000 fans on Sunday receiving matching mittens, all presented by MidAmerican Energy. Saturday's game will also be another $2 beer night presented by Lazer 103.3 and features a New Year's Eve countdown prize drop.
Helping celebrate the New Year will be comedian-contortionist-magician Jonathan Burns who will be performing two different halftime acts at the New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day games. Burns has performed his off-the-wall acts for audiences across the globe and appeared on America's Got Talent, Penn and Teller's Fool Us, and the Late Show with James Corden.
Following the three-game homestand, Iowa begins a four-game road trip on Friday, Jan. 6 at the Salt Lake City Stars. After the road trip, the Wolves return to Wells Fargo Arena on Sunday, Jan. 15 against the Memphis Hustle for Iowa State Fair Day presented by Landus.
