By Iowa Wolves Staff /February 22, 2025

DES MOINES, Iowa – The Iowa Wolves start a three-game homestand Sunday afternoon with the first game of a back-to-back set of contests against the San Diego Clippers. Tipoff is set for 3 p.m. CT and is Iowa’s only Sunday afternoon game at Wells Fargo Arena this season. Sunday is Alpha’s Birthday presented by JP Party Rentals as Iowa’s favorite mascot hosts several of mascot friends for a day of birthday fun for all ages.

Iowa (4-17) will look to bounce back from its loss Thursday night to the Sioux Falls Skyforce. The Skyforce erased a nine-point deficit late in the fourth quarter with an 18-5 closing run for the comeback win at home. Sioux Falls is 2-1 against Iowa this season and the teams will play one final time on March 16 in Sioux Falls, S.D.

Iowa and San Diego (7-11) will play again on Monday night at 6:30 p.m. CT. inside Wells Fargo Arena. Former Iowa Wolves player and Bettendorf native, D.J. Carton, is with the Clippers. Carton, who signed with the Toronto Raptors while a member of the Wolves during the 2023-24 season, recently joined San Diego after the Raptors released him.

Following the two games against the Clippers, Iowa hosts the Osceola Magic on Friday, Feb. 28 for Timberwolves Day, presented by the Iowa Lottery. Timberwolves Day is back for another season as the Wolves celebrate their affiliation with Minnesota! The team will wear Timberwolves-inspired specialty jerseys with the proceeds from the jersey auction benefitting the Fastbreak Foundation. Timberwolves alumni Christian Laettner and Sam Mitchell will be in attendance with a pregame meet & greet open to ticket holders that starts at 5 p.m. Timberwolves Game Entertainment, including their mascot, Crunch, and the Timberwolves Dancers will be on hand and have fans out of their seats having lots of fun all night long!
