SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Following the NBA G League All-Star break, the Iowa Wolves resume the regular season tonight visiting the Sioux Falls Skyforce for a 6:30 p.m. CT game that will be streamed on ESPN+.

Iowa (4-16) and Sioux Falls (9-11) are facing each other for the third time this season with the last meeting happening back on Dec. 21 in the semifinals of the 2024 Showcase Cup in Orlando, Fla. The Skyforce held off the Wolves, 117-104, in the semis and advanced to their first ever Showcase Cup title game where they lost to the repeat champions, the Westchester Knicks.

Iowa is trying to snap a two-game losing streak after sweeping a two-game series against the Stockton Kings on Feb. 7 and 8. The Wolves dropped games to the Greensboro Swarm on Feb. 11 and the Rip City Remix on Feb. 13 before the all-star break.

First-year guard El Ellis was on fire in the loss to the Remix, pouring in a career-high 46 points behind a blistering 17-of-30 shooting performance and added nine rebounds and six assists. Ellis has played in all 36 games this season for Iowa, averaging 12.4 points, 4.8 assists and 3.4 rebounds per game.

Following tonight’s road game, Iowa returns to Wells Fargo Arena for a three-game homestand that starts with a back-to-back set of games against the San Diego Clippers on Sunday at 3 p.m. CT and Monday at 6:30 p.m. CT. Sunday is Iowa’ only Sunday afternoon game of the season. It will be Alpha’s Birthday presented by JP Party Rentals as Iowa’s favorite mascot hosts several of his mascot friends for a day of birthday fun.
