Wolves Drop First Game of Homestand

DES MOINES, Iowa – The Oklahoma City Blue defeated the Iowa Wolves, 150-110, on Tuesday night at Wells Fargo Arena. Tuesday night was the first of four home games this week for Iowa (6-21).

Tyrese Martin scored a team-high 21 points for the Wolves and Javonte Cooke had 20 points. Lance Stephenson scored 14 points while Amauri Hardy and Trevor Keels each tallied 13. 

Two-way guard Adam Flagler scored a game-high 29 points for Oklahoma City (14-12) while two-way forward Keyontae Johnson had 21 points. Two-way center Olivier Sarr finished with 16 points and nine rebounds. Oklahoma City Thunder assignee Ousmane Dieng nearly posted a triple-double with 11 points, nine rebounds and eight assists.

It was a back-and-forth first quarter between the teams with the score 27-21 in favor of the Blue before they broke the game open in the second quarter with 49 points and holding Iowa to 31. Oklahoma City then led by as much as 49 in the third quarter on its way to its 12th victory in the past 15 games.

The teams meet again Wednesday night at 7 p.m. CT. inside Wells Fargo.
