Wolves Drop Final Game of Season

DES MOINES, Iowa – The Austin Spurs defeated the Iowa Wolves, 132-107, on Saturday night at Wells Fargo Arena in the regular season finale for each team.

Austin (20-14) needed a win to keep its playoff chances alive and will now wait for the result of the Salt Lake City vs. Rio Grande Valley game currently in progress. The Vipers must lose for the Spurs to earn a playoff spot.

Daishen Nix led Iowa (7-27) in scoring with 27 points while Tyrese Martin was next with 25 points. Javonte Cooke and Amauri Hardy were the other double figure scorers for the Wolves with 21 and 10 points, respectively. 

Luke Avdalovic paced Austin with 31 points off the bench, knocking down 10 threes to go with eight rebounds. Two-ways David Duke Jr. and RaiQuan Gray scored 28 and 24 points. Sidy Cissoko and Paul Watson were the other double figure scorers with 15 and 12 points, respectively.
