Iowa Wolves and Medica Partner to Celebrate Commitment of Frontline Workers
By Iowa Wolves Staff /February 25, 2022
In recognition of the commitment of service demonstrated by frontline workers, the Iowa Wolves and Medica are teaming up to honor them at the Wolves’ March 6 game at 3 p.m. versus the Sioux Falls Skyforce at Wells Fargo Arena. This game has been rescheduled from January 1. Frontline workers – which include first responders, health care workers and teachers -- can receive up to two free game tickets from the Wolves and Medica by using the code “MEDICA” at IAWolves.com. The organizations will celebrate the achievements of Frontline Workers throughout the day.
“The majority of Iowa’s workforce is frontline workers who continue to work in the face of unknown threats to their physical health throughout the pandemic and we’re so very appreciative of them,” said Ryan Grant, President of the Iowa Wolves. “It’s pretty hard to imagine where we’d be today without these folks giving back so much to our community.”
Medica Senior Vice President of Markets Growth and Retention General Manager Geoff Bartsh added: “Many of these heroes work for our care partners and we hear firsthand the sacrifices they make for our communities. These tickets are but a small token of our appreciation for the incredible and seemingly endless and committed work these men and women do to care for our members and the rest of the community. We can’t thank them enough.”
