Iowa Wolves Add Chris Walker

The Iowa Wolves, the G League affiliate of the Minnesota Timberwolves, today announced the team has added 6-9 forward/center Chris Walker from the available player pool. Walker will be available for Iowa’s game tonight against the Texas Legends.

Walker joins the Wolves after playing in 11 G League regular season and Showcase Cup games with the Long Island Nets this season.

Prior to his stint with the Nets, he spent four seasons with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers and two seasons overseas. In his G League career, he has played in more than 200 games and averaged 8.2 points and 5.5 rebounds per game. Walker played two collegiate seasons for the University of Florida.

Iowa hosts the Legends at Wells Fargo Arena tonight at 7 p.m. CT.
