Iowa Wolves Acquire Returning Player Rights to Lance Stephenson

The Iowa Wolves announced today that the team has acquired the returning player rights to guard Lance Stephenson from the Grand Rapids Gold in exchange for the returning player rights to guard Craig Randall II.
Stephenson has tallied 4,738 points, 1,907 rebounds, 1,621 assists and 357 steals in 554 career games (200 starts). In 10 NBA seasons, he has played for the Atlanta Hawks, Charlotte Hornets, Indiana Pacers, Los Angeles Clippers, Los Angeles Lakers, Memphis Grizzlies, Minnesota Timberwolves and New Orleans Pelicans. In addition, he played one season in China.
Stephenson last played in the NBA in 2021-22 with the Hawks and the Pacers. His most recent playing experience was four games in Puerto Rico’s Leones de Ponce this past spring.
Stephenson was originally drafted out of the University of Cincinnati by the Pacers in the second round of the 2010 NBA Draft.
Randall II played in 21 regular season games (nine starts) last season with the Wolves, averaging 21.2 points, 5.7 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game.
Iowa hosts the Cleveland Charge this Thursday and Friday night at 7 p.m. CT at Wells Fargo Arena.
