SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Iowa Wolves led from start-to-finish in a 103-86 road victory over the Sioux Falls Skyforce on Sunday afternoon at the Sanford Pentagon.

Iowa (2-6) snapped its six-game losing streak with its first road win of the season. The teams were playing the second game of a back-to-back.

Javonte Cooke sparked the Wolves with a team-high 21 points off the bench. Cooke helped Iowa’s bench outscore the Sioux Falls (4-4) reserves, 38-23.

D.J. Carton scored 20 points and Wendell Moore Jr. and Trevor Keels had 15 and 14 points, respectively. Moore Jr. pulled down a career-high 13 rebounds for his first career double-double.

After Sioux Falls led wire-to-wire Saturday night, Iowa flipped the script as Carton and Keels put the Wolves on the scoreboard first with a turnaround jumper and three-pointer. The teams battled back-and-forth for much of the opening quarter before Iowa ran off a 14-5 scoring burst to end the period.

The Wolves maintained the lead at the halftime break by a score of 56-50. They stretched the lead to 22 in the third quarter after holding the Skyforce to 18 points in the quarter. Iowa closed the game with strong play in the final quarter maintaining a double-digit lead the whole quarter.

Iowa returns to Wells Fargo Arena Dec. 2 and 3 when the Indiana Mad Ants visit for a back-to-back. Tipoff Saturday night is set for 7 p.m. CT and 3 p.m. CT on Sunday afternoon.
