Drew Van Meeteren Named New Iowa Wolves President of Business Operations

DES MOINES, Iowa – The Iowa Wolves announced today that Drew Van Meeteren is the organization’s new President of Business Operations. 

“We’re thrilled to have Drew join the team and build on the momentum of an incredible 2022-23 season, including last season’s attendance record,” said Timberwolves and Lynx Chief Operating Officer Ryan Tanke. “Great things are on the horizon for Iowa Wolves’ fans, and we look forward to starting the season on November 10 at Wells Fargo Arena.”

Van Meeteren has spent the past six years affiliated with the PGA TOUR, most recently as the Executive Director of the AdventHealth Championship, a Korn Ferry Tour stop in Kansas City, Mo. Van Meeteren spearheaded a turnaround strategy that helped make the annual event one of the premier stops on the Korn Ferry Tour.

Prior to his time with the PGA TOUR, Van Meeteren spent much of his career with national companies in various corporate financial services roles. Van Meeteren holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Buena Vista University and a master’s degree in business administration from Drake University.
