Chris Silva Rejoins Iowa Wolves

DES MOINES, Iowa – The Iowa Wolves, NBA G League franchise of the Minnesota Timberwolves, today announced forward Chris Silva has rejoined the team after his stint in the NBA with the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Miami Heat. In addition, Iowa waived forward Chris Walker.

Silva signed his first 10-day contract with the Timberwolves on December 21, 2021 and then signed four consecutive 10-days with the Heat. He appeared in 10 games with the two teams, averaging 2.6 points and 3.6 rebounds per game. Silva started 12 games for Iowa during the G League Showcase Cup, averaging 15.1 points and 9.6 rebounds per game.
Walker appeared in six regular season games for the Wolves, averaging 8.2 points and 7.3 rebounds per game.

Iowa hosts the Santa Cruz Warriors on Monday, Feb. 14 at 7 p.m. CT at Wells Fargo Arena.
