SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Iowa Wolves rallied from a late 11-point deficit for a 131-128 win over the Sioux Falls Skyforce on Friday night in NBA G League action at The Stanford Pentagon.

Iowa (7-17) snapped a four-game losing streak with its fourth-straight victory over Sioux Falls (13-10).

The Wolves made 18-of-37 three-pointers as a team led by Craig Randall II who connected on seven and finished with a team-high 27 points.

Emmanuel Mudiay was outstanding especially down the stretch. Mudiay stuffed the stat sheet with 26 points, a season-high 11 rebounds and six assists.

DJ Stewart’s three at the 6:21 mark gave Sioux Falls a 120-109 lead. Iowa responded with a 9-0 scoring run that started with Javonte Cooke’s three followed by a and-one by Mudiay and capped by Randall’s three off an assist by Mudiay.

The teams traded baskets with Simi Shittu coming up clutch for Iowa first with a cutting layup and later a dunk, both off great passes by Mudiay. Mudiay then hit the go-ahead bucket, a nifty fadeaway, with 20 seconds remaining in the back-and-forth game that featured 18 lead changes and 12 ties.

Following Mudiay’s basket, Iowa weathered a turnover by Randall and consecutive three-point misses by the Skyforce.

Timberwolves assignee, Wendell Moore Jr., returned after missing the last game due to injury and finished with 24 points. Matt Lewis, who has played with a broken nose since prior to the all-star break, shot 6-of-9 from the field, including 5-of-7 from deep, and tallied 17 points with five rebounds and four assists.

Jamal Cain and Omer Yurtseven paced Sioux Falls with 27 points each. Stewart added 23 points.

The teams finish the back-to-back on Saturday night at 7 p.m. at the Stanford Pentagon.
