The Iowa Wolves, the NBA G League affiliate of the Minnesota Timberwolves, announced the team has acquired returning rights player James Webb III.

Webb III (6-9, 202), has averaged 13.0 points, 7.9 rebounds and 1.3 assists over two seasons in the NBA G League with the Delaware Blue Coats and Long Island Nets. In 79 career games played, the forward is shooting 43.2% from the field and 36.7% from the three-point line.

In a related move, the Wolves waived guard C.J. Carr.

Iowa continues its 2019-20 season with back-to-back home contests beginning tonight at 7:00 p.m. against the Agua Caliente Clippers of Ontario.
