Priority Home Dates for 2018-19 Season Announced to Commemorate Iowa Wolves’ First Birthday

Des Moines, Iowa – The Iowa Wolves, the NBA G League affiliate of the Minnesota Timberwolves, today announced six priority home dates for the 2018-19 season, including five weekend dates. The Wolves play their home games at Wells Fargo Arena.

“We’re excited to begin our second season as an affiliate of the Minnesota Timberwolves and to continue our partnership with Wells Fargo Arena,” Wolves President Ryan Grant said. “Des Moines was so supportive of this franchise during our first season and we look forward to growing our relationship with this great community.”

The 2018-19 Iowa Wolves season begins this fall and the Wolves’ first priority home date is set for Saturday, Nov 3. The full list of priority home dates is as follows:

  • Saturday, Nov 3, 2018 (first priority home date)
  • Saturday, Dec 1, 2018 (Women in Sports Night)
  • Saturday, Feb 2, 2019 (Country Night with postgame concert)
  • Tuesday, Feb 5, 2019 (Education Celebration day game)
  • Sunday, March 3, 2019 (Faith & Family Night with postgame concert)
  • Saturday, March 16, 2019 (Go Green Night)

In addition to releasing the team’s priority dates, the Wolves today announced the team is offering a five-game ticket pack to all priority weekend dates to commemorate the team’s first birthday. Tickets for the five-game pack begin at $75.

On this date one year ago, the Minnesota Timberwolves unveiled the new name and identity for their NBA G League affiliate team in Des Moines. The Iowa Wolves rebrand followed the Timberwolves own unveiling of a new logo in April 2017.

The entirety of the 2018-19 season schedule, including opponents and times, will be announced later this summer.
