Iowa Acquires Returning Rights to Alex Robinson in Trade with Santa Cruz

The Iowa Wolves announced today the team has acquired the returning player rights of Alex Robinson from the Santa Cruz Warriors in exchange for the returning player rights of William Lee.

Robinson (6-1, 180) appeared in 23 games for the Canton Charge during the 2019-20 season, averaging 4.7 points, 1.6 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game. A native of Fort Worth, Texas, Robinson played three seasons at Texas Christian University, starting in 107 games for the Horned Frogs. The guard was named to the Associated Press All-Big 12 Second Team as a senior. Previously, Robinson was traded from the Charge to the Santa Cruz Warriors on Feb. 21.

Lee (6-8, 210) played in 32 games for the Iowa Wolves during the 2018-19 season, averaging 5.5 points, 4.6 rebounds and 0.5 assists.
