Plumb Announced as Faith & Family Day Performer

Former GMA Dove Award Winner to Perform Concluding Wolves’ Game on Sunday, March 4

Des Moines, Iowa – In partnership with Service Legends, the Iowa Wolves announced today that former GMA Dove Award winner and Christian contemporary recording artist Plumb will perform following the Iowa Wolves’ Faith & Family Day game on Sunday, March 4. Game time is set for 3:00 p.m. as the Iowa Wolves host the Erie BayHawks at Wells Fargo Arena.

Since releasing her debut album in 1997, Plumb has sold more than 500,000 albums and over 2 million singles worldwide. Plumb has also cowritten songs for artists including: Natalie Grant, Jaci Velasquez, Mandy Moore and Michelle Branch. Plumb’s second studio album, “Candycoatedwaterdrops,” won the 2000 Gospel Music Association Dove Award for modern rock album of the year. Her sixth studio album, “Need You Now,” reached a career-best No. 56 on the Billboard 200 album chart and No. 2 on Christian album charts. The album also received five Dove Award nominations including song of the year and contemporary/pop album of the year.

Although most well known as a Christian contemporary artist, Plumb has seen some of her greatest success in the realms of alternative rock and electronic dance music. “Hang On” reached No. 1 on US Billboard’s Hot Dance Club Play while a Bronleewe and Bose remix of her original song “Cut” reached No. 1 on SiriusXM’s dance channel BPM.

Plumb released her first single since forming her own record label Plumb Music in 2017 entitled, “God Help Me.”
